Product Update

Production: September 19, 2024​

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

  • UAT: September 17, 2024
  • Production: September 19, 2024
  • Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

Webhooks​

This product update introduces new webhook events to support message notifications when an administrative user updates or deletes a security group or role. These events provide previous and current values for updates to group and role names, as well as a list of the added and removed role privileges when the assigned privileges of a role are changed. The following events have been added and are now available to all customers:

[BETA] Creative Editor​

Several UX updates were made to the Creative Editor, including:

  • Consolidation of multiple "Crop" options into one menu to provide users with all cropping options in one place.

  • Removal of "Image", "Stroke," and "Shadow" menu options.

    NOTE: "Stroke" and "Shadow" options are still available when editing text overlay.

  • Resolved an issue where white space was left after a free-transform crop was performed on an asset.

  • Resolved an issue where some videos would not load into the Creative Editor.

Story Boards​

This product update introduces the ability for users to search for story boards available to them. Search terms entered in the search bar on the Story Boards list page will be matched against Story Board names using relevancy-style search.

For example, when performing the search "green board", a user would expect to see story boards titled "Green Board", "Green and Yellow Board", "Green Stars" and "Logic Board" returned in that order. Users also do not need to rely on wildcards to perform partial searches, as searching for something like "Gree" will return story boards that contain "Green" or "Greek".

Other Enhancements and Quality Improvements​

  • Resolved an issue where Insights reports capturing search terms by filter selection were not being displayed correctly.
  • Resolved an issue where technical metadata was improperly being mapped to an asset's metadata.
  • Resolved an issue where metadata triggers were not assigning security templates to assets.
  • Resolved an issue where some metadata triggers were not triggering on date matches.
